Common Goods is offering investment opportunities to interested members of our community in the form of interest yielding loans. Our minimum investment threshold is just $1,000, with loan terms starting at 3 years. We believe local investing is good for us and our investors as we can offer returns at more than double the available rates for CDs (certificate of deposits, not compact discs) which are in line with the rates of commercial loans available to us. This strategy keeps money in our community and helps support the development of green business solutions to the social and environmental problems we face.
